Description:
Four fielded Icon: Two narrative scenes on the top and two saintly figures at the bottom.
-The central oval medallion, possibly depicting Christ or the Virgin Mary, connects the upper and lower halves.
-The lower half portrays two prominent saints. On the left is St. Nicholas, identified by his bishop’s attire and the Gospel book. He is one of the most venerated saints in Russian Orthodoxy.
-The right figure appears to be a martyr saint, possibly St. Tsar Constantine or St. Panteleimon, holding a cross, a symbol of his faith and martyrdom.
-The upper left section depicts a biblical scene, possibly the beheading of St. John the Baptist or another martyred saint.
-The upper right scene may illustrate a teaching or healing episode, possibly from the Gospels or the lives of saints.
